Our solution

After costing each option it was decided that delivering materials and removing waste was best done by crossing the river. This meant careful planning with the environment agency and other bodies.

Once permission was granted we used 9 tonne dumpers with balloon tyres and a telehandler to cross the river. Timing and precision were of the utmost importance with this job as the tidal Exe is only passable for brief periods throughout the day.
